Counselor Corner

We have also had a change in our school staffing. Kaelin Souza, school counselor, resigned as of December 18, 2020 to accept a position outside of Yolo County Office of Education. If there are questions about classes, grades, transcripts, etc. please contact Seylna Leach, Administrative Secretary or Ms. G, Principal. We are contracting with Communicare to provide student outreach/counseling supports. In addition, Danielle Sparks, is our Mental Health Therapist supporting our youth. She is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician. She can be reached at (530) 219-1114.

Some of the support systems in place that our academic counselor provide include: reviewing transcripts with students and advocating for them to earn partial credit from years prior. It may mean having a walking meeting to discuss their needs while helping them focus. And it may include a collaboration with a student's support system, education staff, and various community partners.

" A student's past is their past, it does not define the type of student they will be at our school nor does it demonstrate the success they will have at our campus."

We are a family and we welcome you!
